The rogue Russian general is cornered by the Secret Agent, just in time to stop the nukes...or is it?

This was my entry for the Secret Agent Challenge on cgsociety, it was a lot of fun. You can see some progress shots here

a note: For anyone a little insulted that the bad guys are "always the russians." Russia is a great nation and all, i think its pretty obvious that nobody thinks this would ever happen or that this image has any kind of political meaning. I wanted to evoke a Cold War kind of scenario, because I felt that the Cold War is most iconic of the Secret Agent theme (with the sci fi screens as a visual twist). And the Cold War = USA and Russia. Plus this bad guy is a rogue, so whose to say that the Secret Agent himself isn't Russian (an FSB agent perhaps? Or KGB, depending what era you imagine this to be).

holy!!!! WOW! This looks like a photograph, the background screen reminds me of Call of Duty 4's campaign haha this is really something special I am floored by how amazing this is

The look of the old guy is what makes this piece. It is like he knows his life may have come to his end, but he is content because the point of no return has been crossed, and the USA is probably already preparing retaliatory ICBMs
